Joe has made Bucks County, Pennsylvania his home for most of his life and resides there now in Solebury Township. Before devoting himself to painting, he had a varied career in finance, banking, and marketing. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and an MBA from Temple University. His passion is abstract art—when he’s not in his home studio, you can find him visiting art museums and attending cultural events.

Artist Statement: I paint what I feel and try to interpret those sentiments visually. Much of my work is instinctive rather than predetermined. My subject matter is my reaction to an encounter with something in the environment or a sensation experienced from being in a particular place at a particular time. By focusing on the interactions of different colors and shapes, I focus on capturing emotional complexity in a single integrated image.
